Landmines are a growing, global crisis.

5,544 people were killed or maimed by landmines in 2021, with children representing more than 50%

~2,000,000 mines are being deployed each year, while only ~100,000 are cleared (excl Ukraine)

70 countries and territories are plagued by over 110 million landmines

Mines will stay in the ground for 100’s of years and block economic recovery

One deminer is killed and two are injured for every 5,000 successful cleared mines
